WIPing July

Oh my goodness, y’all, I have been meaning to post all month and just now found a bit of time to compose an entry. It’s been seriously crazy here, with relatively little going on in terms of crafting. I do have a few things I’m working on, however….

On needles, I’m working on Abalone. Fabulous picture, I know, but I could not find the enthusiasm to lay it out nicely. After binding off the first shoulder, I realized the arm is too tight and I will need to tink back and add in 4-6 more rows on each side. This very likely will be an FO in the coming days, so please watch for a better picture of it when I get a chance to blog it.

Since my mother is here helping keep me sane–mostly–I’ve also pulled out my sewing machine and am working on a little mystery project in some cotton knit. Mystery project is a mystery… yes.

Clearly, I am tired and a bit stressed out. Sorry for the less-then-coherent babble today, kittens. I’ll be back to blogging in the next 4-6 weeks.

  1. Eek! I hope you get some relaxation time soon. I know how it feels to handle a single child by myself. If I had to handle more than one for an extended period of time, I'd probably be like Clara on The Guild — teaching my oldest how to microwave and locking them in with baby gates. (Just kidding. Sort of.)
